How to use the breeding calculator

1. Choose Parent 1 and Parent 2. Start typing a name and pick it from the list.
2. Read the baby Pal that appears, with its element and breeding power.
3. Open the grey box under the result to see why it hatches: same species, a fixed combo, or the power formula.
4. To plan the other way round, switch to Child → Parents, pick the Pal you want, and browse every pair that makes it. Add a parent you already own to narrow the list.
5. Use Copy link to share the exact result.

How the calculator works

Every Pal has a hidden breeding power in the game files. When two different Pals breed, the game first checks a list of fixed combos. If the pair is on it, the baby is fixed. If not, the game averages the two powers and picks the closest Pal:

1. Same species plus same species gives that species.
2. A fixed combo gives its fixed baby. One pair depends on gender.
3. Otherwise the target is floor((power A + power B + 1) / 2), and the baby is the Pal in the generic pool whose power is closest. Ties go to the Pal with the higher internal priority.

What this calculator does not do

• It does not predict passive skills, individual stat inheritance or the Palworld 1.0 mutation chance.
• It does not calculate how long an egg takes to hatch.
• It shows species only. Levels do not change the species.
